the 8th Integrated Water Resources Management Training
of NARBO in Sri Lanka

We are glad to announce that NARBO will conduct the 8th Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) Training

 

NARBO will conduct the training in collaboration with the Mahaweli Authority of Sri Lanka and the Ministry of Irrigation and Water Resources Management in Sri Lanka.

 

The training will deal with the Mahaweli river basin as a case study. In this river basin, there are many attractive materials for IWRM such as cascade system, facilities for irrigation, hydropower, fishery industry, land use and so on.

 

Successful participants will have many lectures by specialists from Asian countries and have opportunities of group discussions for enhancing the network among the participants and lecturers.

The NARBO secretariat will invite participants in the training soon. Please refer to the 2nd announcement which will be posted on the NARBO website later.

 

We believe that participants will be able to find out ideal investment roadmap for each river basin and improve IWRM in their river basin.

 

NARBO will be pleased to have a representative from your organization.
